Trumpet and flugelhorn have been central to my musical background, but piano, synthesizers, guitar and bass are now just as much a part of my work.\n            <\/p>\n\n        <\/header>\n\n\n        <div class=\"kl-page-content\">\n\n            <section class=\"kl-section\">\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-label\">\n                    Projects\n                <\/div>\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-body\">\n\n                    <p>\n                        I perform, compose and create music for my own projects and in collaboration with others. My work ranges from artists and live performances to theatre, film, television and other contexts where music and sound become part of the story.\n                    <\/p>\n\n                    <p>\n                        I\u2019m particularly drawn to improvisation and the dialogue that can emerge between musicians, instruments, spaces and sound.\n                    <\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n\n            <\/section>\n\n\n            <section class=\"kl-section\">\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-label\">\n                    Instruments\n                <\/div>\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-body\">\n\n                    <p>\n                        The instruments shift roles from one project to another. Sometimes I\u2019m a performing musician, sometimes a composer or producer, and often those roles simply blend together.\n                    <\/p>\n\n                    <p>\n                        Acoustic and electronic elements live side by side, and the instrument itself is often less important than the sound, idea or atmosphere the music calls for.\n                    <\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n\n            <\/section>\n\n\n            <section class=\"kl-section\">\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-label\">\n                    Composition\n                <\/div>\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-body\">\n\n                    <p>\n                        I compose music for artists, theatre, film, television, advertising and other projects where music helps shape the atmosphere, direction and story.\n                    <\/p>\n\n                    <p>\n                        It can be anything from a single musical idea to a larger body of work where composition, sound and production are closely connected.\n                    <\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n\n            <\/section>\n\n\n            <section class=\"kl-section\">\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-label\">\n                    Electronics\n                <\/div>\n\n                <div class=\"kl-section-body\">\n\n                    <p>\n                        Synthesizers, electronics and processed sound are a natural part of my musical work.
